Job Title: Travel AR Clerk

Location: Glen Allen, VA

Duration: Contract - 9 months

Pay Range: $20/hr $22/hr (W2)

Job Description

We are seeking an AR Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries, research issues, and build accurate spreadsheets. The candidate will demonstrate initiative, navigate Excel and various software with ease, and support team productivity goals.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Complete timely and accurate bank reconciliations.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues and complaints through research.
• Create, edit, and maintain spreadsheets and reports in Excel.
• Act as a lead when assigned to guide task execution and workflow.
• Meet and exceed defined productivity and quality goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to navigate various software applications.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Strong problem-solving skills to research and resolve customer issues.
• Clear communication and teamwork abilities with self-driven work habits.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting or finance operations experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience leading tasks or small workstreams.
• Experience creating operational reports and productivity trackers in Excel.
